Forever Young

Musical director / actor and pianist Archie Combe sets the pace—both with his opening excruciating stage-wide wobble-with-a-walker and with oxygen mask-fuelled superb playing through a catalogue of golden oldies ranging from opera to jazz to ballad to pop to rock as, when Sister Shea’s back is turned, the oldsters creakingly morph from desultory silent slump to strut their stuff, bicker and reminisce.
